My Journey – A path shaped by experience
I grew up in Vancouver but spent a few years living and working overseas, which broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the world. In Vancouver, I worked as an educator, supporting vulnerable youth navigating complex mental health challenges—a role that taught me so much about resilience and connection.
My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by the ups and downs of life. Like many, I’ve faced challenges such as career changes and the loss of loved ones. These experiences sparked my curiosity about how people get through tough times. Over the years, I’ve come to see how strength can emerge from even the hardest moments, and how vital it is to have support, process emotions, and take the time to heal.
Life doesn’t always go as planned, but I truly believe we all have the capacity to find meaning, grow, and move forward. That belief is what led me to become a therapist—I wanted to offer others the same kind of care and support that can help them heal, find clarity, and reconnect with their own strength.
